Employment

Scone Equine Group is a dedicated team of professionals, committed to advancing equine veterinary science through research, technology and education. Our business principles are shaped by our commitment to our core values of Integrity, Accountability, Discipline, Diligence and Perseverance. Throughout our subsidiary practices, we aim to recruit and develop a team of people who understand horses and horse people.

We have a reputation for dedicated expert care which is based on understanding our clients and solving their problems. We depend on our team to develop personal relationships with our clients; to know who they are, what they want and to make it easy for them to deal with us.

Scone Equine Group offers many employment opportunities in all areas of equine veterinary practices and across the range of our locations. Our recruitment program includes both permanent and seasonal roles.

Seasonal equine reproductive veterinarians complement our permanent veterinary teams based at our Avenel, Denman, Scone and Tamworth practices. Each year, we employ professional staff from the northern hemisphere to assist us during the stud season.

Equine Podiatry is an expanding and developing field and we are always on the lookout for veterinarians with an interest and/or experience in this field.

Scone Equine Hospital has a fully equipped laboratory, providing haematology, biochemistry, microbiology and other tests required to support the practice. During the breeding season we employ additional qualified scientific and technical officers, as well as administrative support staff.

Qualified and experienced nursing staff are always in high demand and nursing assistants and stablehands are also required for our Intensive Care Unit during the stud season.
