A well balanced turning hammer ideally suited for forging and fitting of shoes, the Jim Blurton rounding hammer is designed to withstand the rigorous daily use by the professional farrier and an essential piece of equipment for every farrier.

The hammer features a handle made from high quality hickory that is grooved for grip. Extra security has been applied to the fitting of the handle via the use of a brass rivet through the centre of the eye. This hammer is made of hardened tool steel.
